On the first day the expedition visited the Museum of Falconry in Mytishchi area

As we wrote earlier, on July 24 the second stage of the expedition to the private museums of Russia has started. Within this stage the team of the Association of private museums of Russia will visit nine museums in Moscow and Yaroslavl areas.

The first museum, visited by the expedition team, became the Museum of Falconry, which is located in Lyskovo village of Mytishchi area of Moscow Region. It is the only Russian museum where the guests in interactive way get acquainted with the falconry as part of the world intangible cultural heritage recognized by the UNESCO. The exposition includes 750 exhibits and located in spacious yurt where in both time and space the Arabic, Japanese, European, British, American, Asian and Russian falconry from classic to modern is presented.

The next destination point is the Museum of Carpentry Tools from Pushkino.
