Charity Tour at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy
Before closing for the summer holidays, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy organized the final excursion. At the request of S. Vasyukova, Head of Sokolniki Moscow Intra-urban unit and O. Tsvetkova, Member of State Duma, the museum management organized a charity tour for seniors, veterans, labor veterans and home front workers who live in Sokolniki.
The guests of the museum were surveying the world’s calligraphic chefs d’oeuvre for an hour and a half with sincere interest. Everyone also had a chance to try her hand at the art of beautiful handwriting.
At present, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy is closed for the summer holidays and will open again in September. We’d like to remind you that everybody interested may enroll in the National School of Calligraphy anytime. All the necessary information can be obtained from the museum administration.
