Calligraphy in Gostiny Dvor
The International Oil and Gas Club hosted a presentation of the latest issue of the elite magazine Monolith Digest on the Gostiny Dvor premises. A review article by Alexey Shaburov, Director of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy project, was published in this edition. The article covers such topics as the culture of writing and script, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy concept and its realization, International Exhibitions of Calligraphy 2008 and 2009, attended by world renowned masters of calligraphy. The guests of the event were prominent businessmen and government officials who arrived at the Gostiny Dvor by invitation from Mr. Greenberg, Chief Editor of Monolith Digest. Invitations to the III International Exhibition of Calligraphy were distributed together with the magazine. The exhibition will be held on September 10-12, 2010 in Veliky Novgorod.
