The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy has received new support from www.museum.ru
The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy is now supported by the web-portal museum.ru. This site has become the new friend of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy and presents full information about the museum on one of its pages.
Since 1996, the portal has been developed by the Russian Network of Culture Heritage non-profit organization with support of the reputable sponsors. During all these years, the portal has been permanently improved thus answering the ever-increasing demands of the site population.
The monthly visiting incidence exceeds 150, 000 pers. The portal was granted thirty awards including the 2005 National Internet Prize and is included in the top 100 of the Russian web-sites. It is cooperating with the key mass media outlets, information agencies, internet portals and museums.
The All-Russian Museum Register is the fullest catalogue containing detailed description of more than three thousand museums with illustrations and convenient search engines.
The portal is planning to translate its pages into English, launch the children’s section and gallery, the culture tourism section and an on-line shop.
