Exhibition of Calligraphy and Scripts to be held in Ufa

The International Exhibition of Scripts and Typography organized by Type Directors Club will be held in Ufa on April 1-9. Outstanding examples of books and periodical editions, posters and identities, advertisements, wraps and packages, as well as the best artificial scripts, designed last year, will be exposed at the exhibition. The event is organized by the international company Type Directors Club (TDC, New-York), The International Designers Association (Moscow) and other organizations.

The visitors will have the opportunity to see the works, prized by three international contests held by TDC club. Moreover, free workshops and lectures for those interested in calligraphy and scripts are scheduled in the course of the exhibition. Visitors will get a great chance to have a look at new design ideas and trends, as well as to increase their level of culture and education. This will be the first time the city will host an exhibition of the kind, demonstrating the best script designs from all over the world. The event will be of particular interest to Ufa printing and advertising producers, as well as to various arts specialists.
