Everybody Huakui

Hua Kui, born in Nanjiang, Sichuan Province in 1949, graduated from the Chinese Department of Sichuan Normal University. A national first- class artist, calligrapher, painter, seal cutter and porcelain artist, Hua Kui also holds the position of children fine arts teacher. During his career he served as an artist at Sichuan Academy of Poetry, Calligraphy and Fine Arts, Deputy Director of the Fine Arts Department at Beijing University of Nationalities, First Vice Principal of the Institute of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting in Australia, visiting professor at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, President of the Association of Contemporary Printing Art, Chairman of the Global Federation of Art Collectors, President of the Global Association of Children Fine Arts Teachers, and Chief Editor of Calligraphy and Fine Arts Department at Chinese educational Internet TV channel.

Fascinated by the art of calligraphy and painting from an early age, Hua Kui proved to be an extremely diligent quick study, and spent dozens of years tirelessly mastering poetry, calligraphy, fine arts, seal and porcelain art. Numerous renowned newspapers took interviews and published special coverage of him, including Narodnoe Iskusstvo (The National Art), Kitayskaya Molodezh (The Chinese Youth), Kitaysky Talant (The Chinese Talent), Izobrazitelnoye Iskusstvo (Fine Arts), Kitayskaya Kalligrafiya I Zhivopis (Chinese Calligraphy and Painting), CCTV, Chinese Education, Guangzhou, Beijing and other TV channels. Hua Kui held personal exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Lanzhou, Xining, Hong Kong, and also in Japan, Sweden, Australia and more. His artworks can be found in many art galleries, museums and memorial facilities, as well as in private collections in China and other countries.
