The National School of Calligraphy announces enrollment to a new Lettering course

The National School of Calligraphy at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy announces new enrollment to the new course of one of the most popular disciplines among professionals and amateurs: Lettering. The course is due to start in March of 2016.

What is lettering? Lettering is the skill of drawing letters, whereas calligraphy is the art of fine writing in general. Lettering is characterized by very thorough drawing of original letters with lots of fine ornamental details, and appliance of typographic techniques. Lettering is very popular today, with artists, illustrators and designers using it to create postcards, invitations, posters, packages and a lot more. And professionals say that everyone can master the skill of lettering!

During our course you will learn about various types and scripts and develop the skill of handwritten lettering. By the end of the course you will be able to create your own lettering compositions, like a real artist.
