On the 3rd of September the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy opened its doors for visitors again

The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy presented to the visitors the renewed exposition On Saturday, September 3, 2016, the most welcome guests came to the exhibition. The magic of calligraphy creates a peculiar atmosphere in the halls, and the visitors couldn’t help feeling it. Everyone immersed in the festive mood. People of all ages looked with keen interest at the new artworks and were delighted to see the old ones. By 13.00 the crowd of children with their parents filled the museum, waiting for the calligraphy course for kids presentation to start. The parents were getting acquainted with the course programme and asking the teacher questions, while children were tracing out lines and strokes painstakingly with pointed nibs. Then grown-up calligraphy lovers attended the presentation of the calligraphy course for adults. After the teacher Artem Lebedev has made a speech, the audience asked him lots of questions: how to choose the calligraphy tools, whether the workload is heavy and whether it is hard to execute the final work at the end of the course. The audience didn’t want to let the teacher go, asking him to tell more about the art of calligraphy and how to master it. The museum was full till closing time, the guests studied the artworks, shared their impressions with each other, discussed the new exhibits and promised to bring their friends and relatives next time.

The course enrollment is still open at the moment, so all interested still have an opportunity to sign up for a course in one of the first Moscow calligraphy schools.
