Forgotten art
During the period of Christianity establishment Slavic penmen were famous for their mastership. Restoration of the forgotten handwriting culture is the aim of the new project Calligraphy: the art of excellence. The project laid the foundation for the International Calligraphic Exhibition the framework of which will include the Mobile museum. In September the exhibition will be held in St Petersburg; Rostov-on-Don will pick up the slack in October and in November the Museum will be exhibited at the State Duma of Russia. The official project presentation was carried out in February in Moscow. Among the guests of the presentation there were professional calligraphers, artists, parliamentarians, businessmen and journalists. The ceremony was led by Aleksey Shaburov, MVK International Exhibition Company Director General and project initiator.
