Students from the Khabarovsk Krai competed in a calligraphy contest

For the first time, the event was held online

For 8 years now, the Best Calligrapher Competition for school students has been held in the Khabarovsk Krai. This year due to the outbreak of coronavirus, it was decided to hold the event online. This made it possible to increase the number of contestants.

The competition is hosted by the Khabarovsk Pedagogical College with the support of the local Ministry of Education. The contest is open for students of grades 3-4. According to experts, it is at this age that the handwriting is established, and students become interested in the Russian language.

A total of 87 kids from 59 schools from almost all regions of the Krai, including special needs students and non-native speakers, took part in the competition.

At the end of the event, all the works were scanned and sent to the organizing committee.
