Museum team visits Foshan City Calligraphers Association

On January 26, 2019, during their business trip to the People's Republic of China, the team of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy visited the Foshan City Calligraphers Association. This is the second time that the team paid a visit to the Association. Their first meeting took place in September 2018.

During the talks, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov and Chairman of the Foshan Calligraphers Association, Member of the Bureau of the Guangdong Provincial Calligraphers Association Wang Zhimin agreed on the conditions of the Association's participation in the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, which will be held on September 20-22 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. The Association will send 12 calligraphies and paintings created by Foshan's leading calligraphers and painters to the exhibition.
