Kazan Residents to Explore Works by Calligraphy Artists

On October 28, the opening of the “Fatihah: New Meanings” exhibition will take place in the Gallery of Tatar Shamail of the Kazan Kremlin Museum & Reserve. Visitors will see the works of young and well-known calligraphers from Tatarstan.

The exhibition will feature more than 30 works made in Arabic calligraphy technique. The “Fatiha” creative group includes Aizat Mingazov and Gulnaz Ismagilova (Kazan-Istanbul), Airat Khismatullin (Yekaterinburg), Nazim Ismagilov and Roza Khuzina (Kazan). The exhibition is timed to coincide with the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad - Mawlid al-Nabi.

The opening of the exhibition will take place at 15:00; the authors of the works will take part in the ceremony. The residents and guests of Kazan will be able to see the exposition until February 2021, the press service of the Kazan Kremlin Museum & Reserve informs.
