Charity museum tour
On December 18, 2018, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy hosted a charity tour for students of the Mikaelyan boarding special needs school No. 30.
The journey into the world of beautiful letters began the minute the visitors entered the museum. Let by a tour guide, they learned about the world’s writing systems, historical scripts, and instruments masters use to produce their calligraphic pieces. Children with hearing loss not only acquired new knowledge and discovered some interesting facts but also experienced lots of positive emotions. The accompanying teachers said that such tours are beneficial in promoting adaptation and social integration of children with special needs. After the tour, the visitors expressed their appreciation to the director, Alexey Shaburov, for offering such a possibility to get to know this beautiful art.
