The Days of Hebrew Calligraphy in Moscow
Moscow is hosting the Days of Hebrew Calligraphy within the Mystery of the World’s Calligraphy exhibition.
Organizers: The National Union of Calligraphers and MVK, the International Exhibition Company with the assistance of the Israeli cultural centre in Moscow.
Avraham Borshevsky Israeli calligrapher, expert in Judaic sacred texts (Jerusalem, Israel) made a presentation on Kosher Calligraphy at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy on December 14th.
Avraham Borshevsky was born in 1970 in Korosten, Ukraine. Borshevsky became an expert in Judaic sacred texts and a master of canonic Hebrew calligraphy at Jerusalemite Shvut Ami Yeshiva.
In 2004 Avraham Borshevsky wrote a unique Mezuzah parchment, which was documented by the Guinness World Records as the largest mezuzah in the history.
