December 10, 2011. Holiday workshop class was held at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

Last Saturday, calligrapher and typographer Artem Lebedev held a workshop class on decorating Christmas and New Year cards at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy.

With Artem’s light hand, class students started to produce really beautiful and yet easy writings just in a few minutes. And the atmosphere of this workshop class was really festive: people were smiling happily and relaxing after long weekdays.

Besides writing itself, the calligrapher has showed quite simple but important elements of any Christmas card — holiday trees, snowflakes, and lanterns that give Artem, as he said himself, the feeling of magic and fairy tale around.

Thanks to all of you who came to this workshop class — we really hope you loved it and one of things you are going to wish on a New Year’s night will be visiting the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy again in 2012!
