Partially teaching, partially playing, Mr. Desai managed to catch the attention of children and adults who were steadily tracing the movements of his hand. Solid experience of teaching and sunny temperament helped to overcome linguistic and cultural incomprehension. Picturesque and unusual works left a lasting impression on children.
