Guests from Veliky Novgorod visiting the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy
This week the representatives of the Committee for Culture, Tourism and Archives of Novgorod Region and Committee for Culture and Youth Policy of Veliky Novgorod were on visit in Moscow. The visitors accepted the proposal to go to the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Sokolniki as part of their business trip. Yelena Isayeva, the Project Monitor of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy held the museum excursion and demonstrated some of the unique exhibits which would be displayed on September 10—12, 2009 in Veliky Novgorod. The guests were impressed by the world calligraphy masterpieces and viewed the entire museum exposition regardless of their busy schedule. By universal consent, the III International Exhibition of Calligraphy will become the outstanding culture event of the year for the Novgorod citizens. In December 2009 the same idea was expressed by Sergei Mitin, Governor of the Novgorod Region.
