Stavropolye will pick the best calligrapher
The annual contest dubbed Pishi Krasivo (Write in a Nicely Fashion) opens in the regional centre on November 4. Those with a master grasp of a pen are welcome to visit Smirnov museum estate or ethnography section of the Prozritelev and Prave state museum reserve in Stavropol.
Contestants can also download a special template available on the regional museum estate's website, and submit it via email firstname.lastname@example.org. This year the contest focuses on local authors, therefore the entrants will write an excerpt by Vladimir Gneushev or Andrey Gubin.
Applications can be submitted until April 2018, and the winners will be announced on May 19 on the pan-Russian Museum Night.
The contest opening ceremony is scheduled for November 4 when Stavropol will hold the Arts Night. Calligraphers will meet in Smirnov museum estate at 6 in the evening or in the ethnography section of the state museum reserve an hour later.
