Yevgeny Dobrovinsky, artist, calligrapher and a brilliant pedagogue, revealed one the secrets of the world calligraphy: his master-classes were dedicated to the history of alphabet. He also told the audience about his style and shared some of his secret techniques.

Yevgeny Dobrovinsky is a reputable connoisseur of the art of beautiful writing. The idea of his master-class was to show that ordinary letters, that our eyes come across a thousand times a day, can tell many interesting things about themselves.– You should only look at them from a different angle and try to hear their mute narrative.

To everybody’s delight Mr. Dobrovinsky didn’t limit his lecture to mere historical accounts. His inspirational speech on searching for the true way of the artist, substantiated by personal experience, left no one unmoved. A universal truth had been proved once more: a gifted narrator can never conduct a boring class.

Moreover all the participants were soon involved in fascinating activities under the guidance of the recognized master of calligraphy performance. Children were writing letters with great pleasure, and their parents watched their children unlock their potential. In our opinion the results of the joint effort exceeded all expectations.
