UNESCO grants its aegis to the Second International Exhibition of Calligraphy
Official letter from the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, granting its aegis to the Second International Exhibition of Calligraphy (14.10 – 14.11.2009).
By this decision, the most authoritative international organization confirmed the fact that the exhibition complies with the aims and ideals of UNESCO in promoting cooperation between peoples. The high recognition of the exhibition will undoubtedly attract attention of the international community to the art produced by the exhibition participants.
Such high estimation together with the support from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and many other indications of our project′s growing support, can but make us happy. We congratulate the calligraphers, organizers, and all the friends of the project with this great success!
