A New Semester at the National School of Calligraphy

After a short break classes at the National School of Calligraphy resumed. Most adult groups of elementary, intermediate, and upper intermediate levels are almost fully staffed. Moreover, since the current semester the children's group is available. The children are going to study the following topics: What is Calligraphy? Instruments and materials of calligraphers. Working rules and workspace organization. Plastic properties of a flat nib. Rules for the treatment of a flat nib; proper usage. Touching paper with a nib. The concept of rhythm and regularity. Writing of the basic elements.
