World Calligraphy Museum wishes Mr. Mao Guangsong a happy birthday

Today, May 5, our friend and talented calligrapher Mr. Mao Guangsong is celebrating his birthday. On behalf of Director Alexey Shaburov and the entire staff of the World Calligraphy Museum, we wish Mr. Mao a happy birthday, wish him good luck, good health and creative success!

Born in Lianshui, Jiangsu Province, Mao Guangsong is a member of the All-China Calligraphers Association, a professor at the Training Center at the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and a board member of the China Association for International Cooperation. Solo exhibitions of Mao Guangsong were successfully held in Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other regions of China. In June 2015, the PRC Copyright Office registered a unique calligraphic style developed by the author. It received the official name "Maocuan", which stands for "Mao Guangsong 's calligraphy style." Mr. Mao has repeatedly been among the winners of the annual Ten Outstanding Calligraphers of China rating.

The master’s works were presented at the exhibition “Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting”, which was held in September 2019, and soon the calligrapher’s works will be available at the Traditional Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Museum, which is scheduled to open soon.
