Renowned Chinese artist Zhang Shisen dedicated New Year greeting card to Vladimir Putin

A renowned Chinese artist Zhang Shisen has produced a series of greeting cards for the exhibition of the New Year cards, which was held in the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy between December 28, 2018, and February 7, 2019, with flying colours. Mr. Shisen dedicated one of the cards to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the Museum forwarded it to the President directly. We hope this greeting message from Zhang Shisen will contribute to the development of relationships between Russia and China!

Zhang Shisen graduated from Beijing Normal University. He holds the positions of a member of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party, a national artist, Deputy Director of the Painting and Calligraphy Talents Assessment Culture and Tourism Department, a former talent pipeline assessment expert in the Ministry of Culture, a member of the Chinese Association of Artists, Executive Director of the Institute of Calligraphy and Painting of the Great Wall of China, Executive Director of the Association of Artists of the Central Governmental Authority, Senior Teacher registered in the Chinese Association of Calligraphers, and Director of the China Academy of Arts.
