Guests from China visited Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

A representational delegation of cultural professionals from Chinese province Henan visited the Museum on Monday, November 26: Miao Shuqun, the Vice-President of the Association Henan Association of Cultural and Art Workers; Yang Jie and Xie Anzhen, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Henan Association of Calligraphers, and Kong Xia, Chairman of Henan Association of Dancers.

During their visit the guests appreciated preparations for The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, and also handed over 5 works made by Henan calligraphers to be exhibited. The guests from China commended the unique exhibit of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and the extent of preparation for the forthcoming event. A joint workshop with Russian calligraphy artists, Varvara Panteleyeva and Svetlana Molodchenko, which served as a round up for their visit, contributed to a more in-depth dialogue between the two cultures and cultural information exchange.
