Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy visits Beijing Academy of Calligraphy

While on a business trip over China, the delegation of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre visited the Beijing Academy of Calligraphy. The delegation was hosted by the Academy’s Director Guan Jun.

The Russian delegates learned about the Academy’s place in the Chinese National Academy of Arts, and about the main calligraphic tendencies in contemporary China. In response, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov presented the Moscow calligraphy museum and spoke about the Great Chinese Calligraphy: One Belt – One Road exhibition project. The parties discussed collaboration strategies and agreed to continue cooperation.
