Calligraphy artist from Tatarstan, Gulnaz Ismagilova, represented Russia in India

Between December 14 and 18, 2017, Jaipur (India) hosted the 5th Jaipur Art Summit, featuring over 50 countries and all branches of art, such as music, dancing, installations, painting, sculptures, calligraphy etc., in individual areas. The event included a plethora of talks and workshops, and for 5 days the city lived and breathed with it. Calligraphy artist Gulnaz Ismagilova, who exhibited about 15 artworks, represented Russia. Each calligrapher was allocated a 2x3x2 m area, making it effectively a personal exhibition for everyone. Gulnaz's art sparked much interest in both visitors and art experts, newspapers and magazines, as well as entailed some exciting cooperative project propositions.
