Calligraphy studio open in movie museum in Novgorod
The first class of “Znaki” calligraphy and pen-and-ink studio will take place next Monday, February 3, at 6:00 PM.
Opened at the Movie Museum, the studio offers training courses for various categories of students in Novgorod. Adult classes are scheduled every Monday and Tuesday starting at 6:00 PM, while Saturdays are family workshop days.
Founded by Mikhail Danilov in Novgorod in 2012, “Znaki” provides one-year trainings, lasting from September to December and from January to June.
“We don’t limit ourselves with ink and pens,” the studio manager Mikhail Danilov says. “We also actively employ brushes, watercolours, and coloured aquarelle pencils.”
