It is for the second year that the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy organized an event dedicated to Japanese culture. The reason was the interest of modern Europeans which is aroused in the purity, the wisdom and the depth of the Land of the Rising Sun culture. With a view to present Japanese mindset in a most detailed way, the administration of the Museum made a very rich program which included lectures, master classes and shows.

During Japanese Culture Days, there were many opportunities:

  1. To watch the master class being given by Japanese calligraphers Sashida Takefusa and Shoko Hirose and to try yourself drawing the hieroglyphs under the nonintrusive guidance of the calligraphers.
  2. To master the hieroglyphs drawing guided by the Japanese calligraphy teacher Alexander Mamonov.
