The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

The world has not yet seen an exhibition of this scale containing: A calligraphic tapestry from Tunisia, petition (chelobitnaya) on birchbark in the Old Russian language, ancient manuscripts and letters, miniature handwritten books and artistic tools.

Don’t go by the World’s largest Mezuzah, the world’s largest Hebrew scared scroll created by an Israeli calligrapher Avraham Borshevsky. The scroll is listed in the Guinness World Records. Also see the only handwritten Constitution of the Russian Federation.

(daily from 10 am to 8 pm).

Tickets: 300 RUR, special rate ticket – 150 RUR, children under 14, pensioners and the physically challenged are welcome for free.
