Calligraphers created the first handwritten copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation

Pyotr Chobitko, Presidium Chairman of the National Union of Calligraphers, announced that a group of Russian calligraphers created the first ever handwritten copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

The first handwritten copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation was presented during a press-conference on September 11th. It contains 120 pages and all words and letters are written with ink, which was made of different plants. According to the report by Lenta.ru, online portal, the design of the handwritten masterpiece was approved by the Russian Heraldic Committee.

Pyotr Chobitko said that Chinese calligraphy masters were very impressed by the talented work of their Russian colleagues. He also mentioned that the National Union of Calligraphers will soon start working on a second handwritten copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation to present to Dmity Medvedev, President of Russia.
