National School of calligraphy to meet new students

The number of people willing to be enrolled on our Calligraphy school has exceeded all our expectations. More than 100 people have sided with the community of true lovers of calligraphy, who are not just fun to admire the hand-written works, but who would wish to know the process of their creation from within.

On March 2 and 3 we took several interviews with our School’s students-to-be. Yury Koverdyaev, school tutor, introduced the students to the curriculum of the first stage, and frankly confessed that start in learning this beautiful art is very complex and may even seem boring. Therefore, students must have patience and do not forget that the period of mastering the basic skills is a must. After that, any creative process will seem ABC.

The School Psychologist, Ludmila Kulanina gave the students a lot of practical advice — how to overcome the first difficulties in learning, how to develop patience and even how to overcome laziness, when suddenly this property will prevent the bona fide nature of homework. And the most important, how not to despair, when suddenly the line does not want to be equally smooth, and the circles are just the curves… and every time different curves. It is important not to expect quick results in the beginning. At the first stage you should follow the recommendations of teachers, precisely and unconditionally, and then everyone will be doomed to a successful outcome.

Especially pleasant for us was getting acquainted with future students. These are people of different ages, professions and beliefs, but united by a common interest in the culture of writing. And almost everyone has a clear goal, which he wants to achieve by attending our school. Someone wants to apply the acquired skills in trade, someone wants to be closer to art, someone wants to open calligraphy courses for children, someone is simply trying to expand their own capabilities. The main thing is everyone has a motive, and it's already a big deal. When there is a goal in front of you, the path to it does not seem so hard. We do believe, our students will succeed.

Recruits are accepted. Group of 1 and 2 levels are formed. Total number of students in our school — about 100. The classes begin on March 22.

We wish you all good luck!
