Ambigram: Intellectual and Aesthetic Charm of the Ambivalent Inscriptions, lecture by Dmitry Trunov

A fascinating lecture was given on September 7 at 18:00 by Dmitry Trunov, Dr. Phil., creative art therapist and researcher of Western European calligraphy, to speak about ambigrams – creative calligraphy ornaments that combine two various perspectives using the same lines. Professionals are well aware that a good logo is an ornament. An ambigram then is the ideal ornament, top class, a fantastic mix of calligraphy, typography and thinking mind. The visitors of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, who attended the talk, got to know about the variety of ambigram creating techniques and its history.
